Alarnab owned three restaurants is Damascus, Syria. His mother started teaching him how to cook when he was 9 years old.   Two of his three restaurants were completely decimated during the war.   He arrived in the UK on October 5, 2015.   Running a restaurant again, even on a small scale, has given Alarnab his dignity back---and a tangible way for him and London diners to help Syrians enduring the war back home.
