Analysis: PA Ballot Laws May Help Cheaters

N
NTD Videos
Pennsylvania's Supreme Court recently allowed the state to have until 3 days after November's presidential election to accept mail-in ballots, even if the ballots don't have a postmark or the postmark is illegible. Pennsylvania Republicans filed a second emergency request with the Supreme Court to try to undo the extension. Extension advocates say the pandemic makes voting more difficult, which threatens people's right to vote. Last week, Pennsylvania's Supreme Court unanimously ruled to prevent counties from rejecting mail-in ballots for a signature mismatch between the ballot and voter registration form. Supporters say this allows people to vote without fear that election officials, who aren't trained in handwriting analysis, might think the signatures don't match. We spoke to Matthew Vadum, an award-winning investigative journalist and legal correspondent for The Epoch Times, for his take on the issue.
