Tiffany Eickhoff-renew

Maggie Ren
Tiffany Eickhoff was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was just an infant. Growing up, she struggled with her strength and balance. “I always say I want to do everything everybody else does but I just may have to do it in a different way” in December 2017, Eickhoff made the decision to start working out. Wanting to get in shape, she started going to CrossFit several days a week. That's when she noticed an interesting side effect. Before beginning CrossFit, Eickhoff used a wheelchair, but now she's able to get around using a cane. “It has done wonders for my cerebral palsy!” When Eickhoff and her trainer come across exercises she might not be able to do, they modify her workouts. But there is one exercise Eickhoff didn’t have to modify that recently caught the attention of hundreds of thousands of people. “I am so excited I officially pulled a tire back and forth for the first time ever!” In the video, which was shared on CrossFit’s official Facebook page, Eickhoff is shown pulling a tire several hundred feet across a parking lot. “Ever since I was a little girl I told myself I’m going to inspire people all around the world” And that she has.
