‘Transparency’ Needed as Russia Seeks More Ties With China: Policy Expert

One of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest associates said that Russia is seeking closer security ties with China, at a meeting with a top Chinese Communist Party official. NTD spoke to Stephen Yates, senior fellow and chair of the China Policy Initiative, for analysis. Yates says "accounting principles and transparency requirements" are needed to keep the leadership of these two countries in check.
