Some lawmakers and former Trump administration officials are trying to wipe TikTok from American soil. The Chinese-owned platform has made itself part of American life: over 80 million users turn to the app for a dose of fun. But concerns are growing that TikTok's user data could be tapped by the Chinese Communist Party. Where is this tug-of-war headed?
