US–China Relations in a 'Dangerous State': Roger Garside

NTD News
NTD News
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says China is the biggest state-based threat to the UK's economic security. But he wouldn't say whether he intended to officially class the Chinese regime as a threat. Sunak is among the world leaders gathering on the Indonesian island of Bali for the Group of Twenty summit, and said he's open to meeting Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping. On Monday, U.S. President Joe Biden met with Xi. Roger Garside, a former British diplomat and author of the book "China Coup: The Great Leap to Freedom," says U.S.-China relations are in a more dangerous state than at any time he can remember. NTD spoke with him earlier.
