J6 Committee Hints at New Developments as They Prepare for Another Round of Hearings

On Sept. 28, the January 6 Committee will resume public hearings to continue its investigation into the Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021. Some members say former President Donald Trump played a direct role in the breach and wanted to prevent a peaceful transfer of power. But a democracy movement expert doesn’t think the committee has any real evidence and calls the hearings a "messaging campaign."
