ZCrew - The Early Years / 1990 & 1991 - Case IH 1660 combine

We decided late in the game the summer of 1990 to make a trip to Lodgepole. Dad had decided he was done with the harvest. Grandpa and Grandma’s health prevented them from making the journey, as well. We decided to give it a try on our own. This particular summer, we went to Lodgepole and back home again. 1991 was truly the test for whether or not we were cut out for this lifestyle with one combine. We traded the 850 Massey for a brand new Case IH 1660 combine and headed west. Our first stop was Lodgepole. We then went to Bushnell, Nebraska. From there, we made the trip to Jordan, Montana.
