New Bill May Accelerate Taiwan Arms Transfers

Two U.S. lawmakers are pushing for a new bill to speed up arms deliveries to Taiwan. The Biden administration just approved its fifth and largest arms sale to the island earlier this month. But an expert that tracks the sales says none of the approved weapons have been delivered. It could take up to five years for Washington to actually deliver the weapons after approving the sale.
