Meet SWOT Mission Makers: Christine Gebara

We went live with Christine Gebara, an integration and test engineer on the SWOT mission who worked on the spacecraft's deployable antennas ahead of its launch last month. The international Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite, will track water on more than 90% of Earth's surface — and it's currently in low-Earth orbit as it prepares to send back science later this year. Watch the conversation as we talk about the engineering aspects of SWOT and how Christine's lifelong love of water inspired her to study aerospace engineering. For more information on the SWOT mission, visit https://swot.jpl.nasa.gov/ or follow #TrackingWorldWater on social media. SWOT is a collaboration between NASA and CNES, with contributions from the Canadian Space Agency and the UK Space Agency.
