When Matching The Hatch Doesn't Work || River BASS Fishing Tournament

My boy Young Hunter invited me to fish a 2v2 with him on the river against his buddies Eli and Daryl. He put on a show and I performed as usual. Early on in the day I noticed a crawfish one of the fish spit up, and later we found a handful in the livewell. I tried to match the hatch with color/size and it just wasn't happening. What do you guys do in this situation?!
