The Manhattan District Attorney’s office received a threatening letter on March 24, containing a suspicious white powder. This comes as District Attorney Alvin Bragg remains silent about the status of his investigation into former President Donald Trump allegedly paying hush money to an adult film actress leading into the 2016 election. Since Monday, Bragg has called off two grand jury meetings and is reevaluating his case. The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights Act. The bill would do several things, each with the overarching goal of ensuring that parents know what’s going on in their children’s classrooms. President Joe Biden emphasized the importance of the U.S.-Canada partnership in his address to the Canadian Parliament, after bilateral meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
