France: Pension Reform Debated in Parliament

In France, the government's pension reform plans continue to draw out stiff opposition. On the streets, for the third time, hundreds of thousands came out in protest, and in Parliament, members of the left- and right-wing parties on Feb. 7 began an arm wrestling with the government over the reform.
