UN: China 'Misrepresented' Bachelet's Comments

Something may have gotten lost in translation during a recent meeting between China and the United Nations. The Chinese communist regime reportedly misrepresented comments from the United Nations High Commissioner of Human Rights. That's according to the UN, which issued a clarification later. Michelle Bachelet spoke with Chinese Communist Party Head Xi Jinping on Wednesday via video link. This was during her 6-day trip to China. The same day, Chinese media and state websites published a report on the talks. They stated Bachelet, quote: “expressed admiration for China's efforts and achievements in eliminating poverty, protecting human rights and realizing economic and social development." But there's one problem: That's not what Bachelet said.
