Divers Restore Seagrass Beds in Denmark

Underwater gardeners in Denmark are planting new, carbon-capturing eelgrass meadows. The added plants will help restore a degraded fjord, a narrow body of water that stretches inland. Scientists say the country has lost an estimated 80 to 90 percent of eelgrass beds that used to be lush growing along these steep inlets.
