Famed escape changes people’s hearts: A true story of a steer that brings you hope & happiness

The residents of a town in New England got the opportunity to do some good and save a life. And actually not just save a life but provide a happy ending to the story. The townsfolk came together and through their ingenuity and compassion for another life saved the day. Buddy was a steer heading for the slaughterhouse in the town. Sensing death was close he managed to escape and led the townsfolk on a merry chase. Over the months that he eluded capture he won over the hearts of everyone and instead of capturing him to return him to the slaughterhouse, the story has a very different ending.
