LIVE: Rep. Biggs and Other Congressional Members Release Articles of Impeachment Against Mayorkas

U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), joined by 15 other Congressional members, will unveil his 118th Congress impeachment articles against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas at the House Triangle at 3:00 p.m. ET on Feb. 1. Biggs was the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Mayorkas, introducing them in August 2021 after concluding that Mayorkas was in dereliction of duty in protecting the nation’s borders, constituting high crimes and misdemeanors.
