In this small engine repair quick tip video, I will show you why you should always mark this on your Tecumseh carburetor. Generally speaking, this can apply with any carburetor that has multiple holes on the throttle shaft plate. You need to mark the hole where the governor rod went on the throttle shaft plate so that when re-assembling your carburetor, your rpm's aren't changed, thus resulting in a poor running machine.
