NTSB officials on Wednesday evening revealed findings from the first day of its investigation into possible causes of the cargo ship collision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge, resulting in its collapse. Board Chair Jennifer Homendy told reporters at the Baltimore press briefing the vessel was carrying hazardous materials and some leaked into the water. She is also looking into the overall condition of the bridge, which Homendy said was "fracture critical," meaning if a member of it fails, it would likely cause a portion of or the entire bridge to fall. The probe will continue on Wednesday
