White House 'Concerned' Over Israel's Plans to Strike Rafah; Hamas Makes Demands for Hostage Release

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Monday said the White House is "concerned" over Israel's plans to strike Rafah during its war against Hamas after President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed the situation via telephone earlier in the day. During the day's press briefing, Sullivan also told reporters Hamas has a list of demands on the table in exchange for the release of hostages. The Biden Administration official added Israel is not willing to accept all of the terrorist group's conditions, but indicated hope for a negotiation.
