Rain. That’s the first part of my made-up word…RAINcation. Because it’s not a vacation. And it usually causes more concern knowing the job further north continues to ripen and will need a combine. We needed a day off. But we’re hoping it’s not an extended raincation. A shout-out to KanEquip out of Ellsworth and Modern Ag for coming to the field today and helping Jim with his minor combine issues! You’re the BEST! It appears our northern jobs are falling apart due to the severe drought they are experiencing and the grasshoppers. I must admit, this could bring tears because this is my most favorite stop of the summer journey. It’s like going home all over again.
