Day 4 - 2021 Wheat Harvest / June 16 (Medicine Lodge, Kansas)

The day began with a trip back to St. John to get the combine. And then the real work began. All pieces of the puzzle had to be put back together again before we could make our way to the field. Working directly in the sun (plus the past days of constant packing and details) sorta wore on us. (Maybe it’s old age?) Eventually, though, we did make it to the field and went right to work. The moisture was 9.5%. PLENTY dry! The test weight was 62.8 lbs. AWESOME! There’s no end in sight of a cool down. This only means no rain. And no day off.
